About our Blog
We started this site, because after College we found ourselves, as well as many of our friends, going through the “After- college crisis.” We always thought that after we got a degree (and lots of debt to prove this!) it would be very easy to land the job of our dreams. Little did we know, we would be moving back home with no idea where to start our job search.
A year later we are thankfully in great jobs, and are living in the wonderful city of San Francisco. However, we haven’t forgotten the year of constant interviews, internet searches, and temp jobs that got us here. We hope the advice that we provide on this site, based on our own experiences and that of others will be helpful in your quest for the perfect job, house or roommate! We have also included some helpful tips for living on an entry-level salary, such as quick and cheap cooking tips, inexpensive but great looking fashion finds, and fun ways to meet people and stay sane outside of the office.
This site focuses on our local city of San Francisco, but also includes some general tips that can be used anywhere.
Enjoy!

GREAT Blog—and I’m not just saying that because you have my book listed. I’m going to add you to my blogroll.
Ashley and Jenny,
This blog is awesome! Why did I not know about this?!
Miss you…

Jenny and Ashley you guys are creative geniuses! Thanks for all the great advice that MadGrad offers. It applies to so many of us who graduate college and are completely lost. You two are swell.
I’ve read a couple articles, and really like the tone and content of the site. Thanks, and keep it up!
Just found your blog. What an interesting idea! I have not had a chance to read it all.. yet, but I will for sure continue following you guys/gals.
Love the blog!
You ladies do a bang-up job with your blog. I’ve been going up and reading some of the posts, going “wow, I wish I’d known that!” As someone who recently graduated, I find your blog quite helpful.
Thank you for writing.
I have an idea for your blog:
How about a series of posts that follows one Mad Grad’s job search, and details what she could do better to land her dream job?
I volunteer myself as the Guinea Pig!
wonderful idea! send us an email
