Two-Word Poem

I came across this great site SoulPancake created by Rainn Wilson, one of the funniest men alive (Dwight Shrute anyone?).

“Soulpancake is a place to speak your mind, unload your questions, and figure out what it means to be human”

…I’m in!

I was browsing around on the site tonight and found this thought-provoking post, “What’s your two-word poem?” After a lot of “soul-pancake” searching, I came up with mine: SPEAK UP. I think this is the greatest thing I’ve learned in my 25 years of living. In order to have successful careers, friendships, relationships, marriages, you need to speak up and say what you are feeling. Too often, we forget that unlike the sorting hat in Harry Potter, people don’t always know what we are thinking.

What’s yours?

I love “speak up” … mine would probably be “choose bliss.” No matter what happens in our lives, we always have the ability to choose to be happy. It’s pretty cliche, but it helps me keep perspective.

Just stumbled upon your blog, btw, and I’m loving it!

Mine would be “Chill Out!” I worry about the future so much…I need to trust the present more…and myself.

so beautiful!! I want that on a poster in my room to remind myself every day. It seems obvious but we often forget to do it!

I would have to go with my two word harmonious contrast of “choice…destiny.” Though if I were to frame my two word poem in a more advice like way I would instead go with “Always Smile” or “Be Haooy” – as no matter what happens, just know it could always be worse!

hey right on, I posted one on SP too: WANDERING WITHIN. IT’s something in my nature to internalize everything and let it fester until I come up with an idea.
