Howdy Jenny, good to meet you the other day. How was the run this weekend?

Regarding your goal to take the GMAT, all you need is a 600 or better and you've got as good a chance as any to get in anywhere. Too many folks sweat about trying to break 700.

Have you considered Berkeley's Part-time program on the weeknights or weekends? It's 2.5 or 3 years, and you can write off the entire tuition off your income. You can also also enroll full time after a year if you wish.

Best, Sam

Happy New Year and thanks for the wonderful blog!

Well, some of my resolutions will go on with me from 2009, as most of them were only partly accomplished. But this was OK with me, because I hardly ever accomplish ANY of my resolutions. I have this habit of procrastinating that has kept me from reaching some of my goals, and I'm working hard to get rid of it.

One thing that is helping me "get moving" and take action to reach my goals is having supportive friends with whom I share my goals. I read this tip over and over on the net and it DOES work. It helps me stay committed to the goal and work for it because I know that someone who cares is "waiting" for the results. Also some of my friends actually have the same goals as mine (e.g. weight loss), so we work for it together and mutually support each other.
