Use the “I”m a student… can you help me?” card to network For some reason, everyone feels sorry for college students. (Which is crazy because college was the best four years ever… Students should be feeling sorry for us.)

If you’re a student and you ask a business owner/recruiter/author/expert to have coffee and tell you a little bit more about their career path and how they got to where they are, there’s a very good chance they’ll say yes. Simply because you’re a student. People get excited to help students… more doors will open that you’ll realize.
